Hi folks, I will not be attending this weekend's festivities after all, so thought I could at least update my empty profile! I live in Yarmouth, Maine, just north of Portland. Maine is a fabulous place to call home and I'm very thankful that I landed here nearly 40 years ago. I worked in Manhattan, Boston, and finally Portland - employee benefits, finance, software development (ever heard of a Scrum Master?). Now retired, I volunteer at our local food pantry and Partners for World Health. Married for 38 years, my husband Ran and I thoroughly enjoyed raising our two now adult kids; our son lives in Boulder CO, our daughter just 10 miles from our home. We are outdoor enthusiasts and travel when we can; just returned from Iceland (that's me on a black sand beach in southern Iceland), an amazing place like no other I've been. I try to practice gratitude daily for all the good fortune in my life, but worry about our world. May we all be hopeful, positive and do our best to improve our surroundings.
